As ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ completed 15 years, Hrithik Roshan took a nostalgic trip down memory lane, revisiting a film that he says changed him both professionally and personally. Marking the occasion on Instagram, the actor shared memorable clips from the road-trip drama alongside a heartfelt note, revealing that the film arrived at a time when he was dealing with his own emotional struggles.Hrithik revealed that portraying Arjun was much more than playing a character on screen. According to the actor, the role reflected the emotional state he was in during that phase of his life, making the experience deeply personal.Looking back, he shared that filming ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ became a process of healing. As Arjun gradually rediscovered himself in the story, Hrithik felt he was going through a similar transformation off camera. Describing the experience, he called it “deeply transformative and cathartic,” adding that it remains one of the most significant milestones of his career.
Zoya Akhtar ‘s faith made all the difference
The actor also credited filmmaker Zoya Akhtar for creating an atmosphere where every performer could be completely honest with their craft. Hrithik recalled that even before the cameras started rolling, their conversations convinced him that she believed in both her instincts and her actors.According to him, that confidence encouraged the cast to stay spontaneous instead of worrying about perfection.
