The upcoming DC animated series, ‘Batman: Caped Crusader’ Season 2, has officially found its Joker! While there had been speculation about who would join the voice cast as the famed antagonist of the DC universe, Joker, the role is no longer up for grabs. Matthew Needham cast as Joker voice actor in ‘Batman: Caped Crusader’ Season 2
Matthew Needham, after riding the success of ‘House of the Dragon,’ is set to take on another project. Deadline recently reported that the actor has officially been selected to voice the role of the Joker in the upcoming second season of the DC animated series. The casting was confirmed by the production team on Thursday during a presentation at San Diego Comic-Con.Not only that, but the Season 2 premiere episode was also screened at the event for select audience members. The panel was attended by Producers James Tucker and Geoffrey Thorne, voice stars Hamish Linklater and Jamie Chung, as well as Matthew Needham himself, who also confirmed his presence in the show. Along with the first episode of the series, the production house also launched the first official trailer for the video game version of the series, titled ‘Batman: Caped Crusader Chronicles.’Both the game and the TV animated series will be released on July 31. The second season of the animated series will be available for fans to stream on Prime Video.

‘Batman: Caped Crusader’ is a noir-themed animated series centering on Bruce Wayne’s younger years, chronicling his journey as the masked vigilante of Gotham.
