Director Ravi Namburii’s ‘Chennai Love Story’ was released on big screens on July 24. Starring Kiran Abbavaram and Gouri Priya, the film completed its first week at the box office with decent collections. However, its earnings dropped on Thursday as it recorded lower numbers during the mid-week run.

‘Chennai Love Story’ first week collection

According to a report by trade analyst Sacnilk, the romance drama minted over Rs 1.42 crore across 1,361 shows during its collection in India on Day 7. This marks a 35.5% decline in its collection after the film made Rs 2.20 crore on Wednesday.After the first week, the film’s gross collection comes to Rs 30.88 crore, while India’s net collection sits at Rs 26.92 crore.After this, the film’s overseas collection is reported at Rs 6.40 crore and this brings the total worldwide gross collection at Rs 37.28 crore.

‘Chennai Love Story’ occupancy

Speaking of the film’s attendance in theatres, ‘Chennai Love Story’ recorded an overall occupancy of 25.62%. The film’s occupancy on Day 7 peaked during the afternoon shows which recorded 27.23% and the night shows were at 25.54%. In the evening the shows saw a decline as it had 19.23%, while morning shows recorded the lowest throughout the day at 17.38%.
