The Telugu romantic drama ‘Chennai Love Story’ is continuing its run in theatres. After enjoying a solid first week collection, the film directed by Ravi Namburii and starring Kiran Abbavaram and Gouri Priya is maintaining a steady pace as it is currently in its second weekend. The second weekend collections show a rise from the earlier mid-week collections.

‘Chennai Love Story’ day 9 numbers

According to Sacnilk, the film collected an estimated Rs 2 crore net in India on Day 5, marking a 33.3% increase from its Rs 1.50 crore net collection on Friday. The film was screened across 1,318 shows on Saturday. With the latest earnings, its total India net collection has reached Rs 30.50 crore, while the India gross collection stands at Rs 34.99 crore.In overseas markets, the film added Rs 15 lakhs gross on Day 9, taking its international total to Rs 6.70 crore gross. As a result, the film’s worldwide gross collection has climbed to Rs 41.69 crore.

Telugu version collections

The Telugu version recorded an overall occupancy of 38.36% on Saturday. Night shows witnessed the strongest response with 43.17% occupancy, followed by afternoon shows at 38%. Morning shows registered 21.42%, while evening shows recorded 30% occupancy.Andhra Pradesh and Telangana remained the biggest contributors on day 9 with Rs 2 crore gross. Karnataka followed with Rs 25 lakhs, while Tamil Nadu contributed Rs 4 lakhs. The rest of India added Rs 1 lakh, taking the film’s Day 4 India gross to Rs 2.30 crore.
