NEW DELHI: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal was discharged from hospital on Friday, a day after he was attacked by an assailant armed with a “kirpan” at a gurdwara in Nanded, Maharashtra.The former Punjab deputy chief minister emerged from the hospital with his arm in a sling, flanked by supporters. Speaking to the media, he said he was “not afraid” in his first reaction to the attack.(Developing story)
