Rashmika Mandanna has heaped praise on Ravi Teja‘s latest release, ‘Irumudi’, calling it a film that took her by surprise emotionally. The actor shared her thoughts on X, applauding the makers for tackling a subject she feels deserves more conversation, as the film continues its strong run at the box office.

Sharing her reaction after watching the film, Rashmika Mandanna wrote about how children growing up in small towns often turn to elders when something bothers them, only to be met with silence. She posted, “Yesterday I had the opportunity to watch Irumudi.. What a beautiful film it is.. it hit me in ways I didn’t see coming.. Generally when we grow up in small towns something happens to us or something bothers us our first response will be to tell our elders what happened because that’s the innocence in us.. and then the reality hits us.. and we are then told to keep quiet.. no matter what..”She followed this with praise for the cast and crew, writing, “This film was such a wonderful surprise and speaks of something that should be spoken about. Irumudi box office update
According to Sacnilk, Irumudi has earned Rs 73 crore in India gross so far, with its India net collection standing at Rs 62.85 crore. The film added Rs 1.50 crore on Day 4, pushing its worldwide gross to Rs 88 crore.

‘Irumudi’ is a family drama centred on the bond between a father and daughter. Ravi Teja plays a man who has faced numerous hardships in his past and now leads a quiet life while raising his daughter and working towards a stable future. The story shifts when his daughter asks him to undertake Ayyappa Deeksha, a 41-day spiritual journey, which he agrees to begin.Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the film also stars Priya Bhavani Shankar, Baby Nakshathra, Sai Kumar, Ajay Ghosh and Swasika Vijay.
