Actress Selma Blair paid tribute to Curry in the comments section of his final Instagram post, dated August 13. “Rest in peace. Kind and wonderful you,” she wrote.Luke Evans, who recently played Frank-N-Furter on Broadway in ‘The Rocky Horror Show’, shared a tribute recalling his final correspondence with Curry. “Three weeks ago, I wrote a letter to Tim Curry… I want to share it with you,” Evans wrote. “He was a force, a bright fierce flame, an exquisite charm and that rich vocal tone, he was an inspiration to me and to so many people for the roles he played and the effect he had on so many of us.”“There will only be one Tim Curry,” Evans added. “All the rest of us will just have to do our best to emulate some of the magic of that role that I’ve just spent 7 months playing.”Actress Rosie O’Donnell also remembered the star by sharing a photograph of the late star on Instagram with the caption, “Sweetest man #timcurry #rockyhorrorpictureshow.”Curry’s ‘Annie’ co-star Carol Burnett recalled working with the actor in the Oscar-nominated musical. He became an international cult icon after playing the flamboyant Frank-N-Furter in the 1975 film ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’. He later terrified audiences as Pennywise in the 1990 television adaptation of Stephen King’s ‘It’, while also appearing in several hit films. He also showcased his versatility with his extensive voice-acting credits.Tim Curry’s health struggles Curry suffered a severe stroke in 2012 that left him partially paralysed and affected his speech.
