Arya’s ‘Ananthan Kaadu’ is set to arrive on OTT platforms after completing its theatrical run earlier this year. The film had its theatrical release on June 25.Directed by Jiyen Krishnakumar, ‘Ananthan Kaadu’ has been written by Murali Gopy. The film is set against the politically charged atmosphere of the 1990s. It explores the lives of ordinary people caught between political interests, gangsters and influential power brokers.

The digital premiere of ‘Ananthan Kaadu’ is scheduled for September 2.Indian viewers can watch it on Prime Video, Lionsgate Play and Manorama Max. Audiences outside India will be able to stream the movie on Simply South.The makers confirmed the OTT arrival through a social media announcement, “Enter the world of mystery, thrill and the unknown! #AnanthanKaadu will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video, Simply South (worldwide, excluding India), AP International South Cinema, and Lionsgate Play from September 2.”

The narrative takes place during a politically volatile period in Kerala. The story is centred on a group of men from a working-class settlement in Thiruvananthapuram.
