A 56-year-old Massachusetts woman was arrested outside Plymouth Superior Court after she was allegedly caught photographing or filming jurors in the Lindsay Clancy triple-murder trial, according to reports.Dawn Light of Sutton was placed in handcuffs outside the courthouse at around 3:40 pm Tuesday, The New York Post reported, citing Massachusetts State Police. She is expected to be arraigned Wednesday on a charge of intimidation of a witness, juror or person furnishing information in connection with criminal proceedings. The state police did not confirm whether Light’s arrest was directly connected to the high-profile Clancy trial. However, CBS Boston reporter Kristina Rex, citing sources, reported that a non-media member had been arrested outside the courthouse and was accused of filming jurors. The jurors allegedly noticed the filming.Light’s arrest came as the 12-member jury, comprising nine women and three men, was dismissed for the day after more than 23 hours of deliberations. The panel had informed the judge earlier Tuesday that it was deadlocked but was instructed to continue deliberating. The jury is expected to return Wednesday at 9 am. Legal experts have said a mistrial could be likely if jurors fail to reach a unanimous verdict.Clancy, 36, is accused of killing her three children — 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson and eight-month-old Callan — at their Duxbury home on January 24, 2023.Her defence has argued that she was suffering from severe postpartum psychosis and is seeking a verdict of not guilty by reason of insanity.Clancy’s attorney Kevin Reddington has said he would “absolutely” represent her again if the jury remains deadlocked and the case goes to a retrial.
