The much-awaited ‘Baap’ is set to offer fans a glimpse of its four leading men in a completely different avatar. Sunny Deol, Mithun Chakraborty, Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff have come together for a lively promotional song that combines their trademark action image with dance and camaraderie. Producer Ahmed Khan and director Vivek Chauhan recently filmed the music video, despite the principal photography of the film having been completed in April 2025. The track was shot in June on a specially constructed mill set at Madh Island. The promotional video is expected to feature the four stars together while also incorporating several action moments from the film.
Dance, action and plenty of camaraderie
The idea of bringing the veteran actors together for a dance number had been discussed earlier. However, the track was eventually filmed this year, while another song focusing on their camaraderie had already been shot in Mizoram and at Film City in Mumbai.According to Mid-Day, reports stated, “A peppy dance number featuring the four actors, and another track celebrating their camaraderie were to be shot last year. However, only the latter was filmed in the jungles of Mizoram and in Film City, Mumbai. The dance track was finally shot in June this year. A set depicting a mill was created at Madh Island for the purpose.”Johny Lever will also feature in the promotional video, adding another familiar face to the combination of veteran performers.
Action sequences to be part of the song
Action remains one of the major attractions of ‘Baap’, with action directors Parvez Shaikh and Ravi Varma choreographing the film’s stunt sequences. Reports added, “It’s intercut with different action set-pieces. For instance, one sequence has Sunny and Sanjay fighting on top of a Boeing plane; it may make the cut.” This approach is expected to give the song a more cinematic presentation instead of making it a conventional dance promotional video.
Ahmed Khan praises the veteran stars
For Ahmed Khan, watching the four action icons dance together was a memorable experience. Speaking about the shoot, he said, “It was great fun to have the true action heroes dancing and doing dialoguebaazi.”Director Vivek Chauhan also shared his excitement over bringing the stars together, saying, “Seeing these macho icons together in one frame is a cinematic feast!”With its combination of veteran stars, action footage, dance and humour, the promotional track is expected to build further anticipation around ‘Baap’.
