‘Hanuman Ansh’ which started slow at the box office, is turning into a massive hit, with praises coming in from moviegoers and celebrities. Amid this, the film’s director, Vishal Chaturvedi, has shared that he wouldn’t want to name most of the industry people who praised the film because they turned him down when he reached out for help.Vishal shared how the shows for the film were chopped and shared, “People drove this film. Theatres with big films scheduled to release chopped our screen count. From 250, our show count came down to 25. Multiplexes like PVR and Cinepolis in prime locations were skeptical about running our shows,”he said in an interview with The Raunac Podcast.He further, while sharing how things flipped as the movie gained momentum at the box office, recalled, “After the film started to do well, several people called me to congratulate me. I don’t want to name them. One of those who congratulated me was Madhur Bhandarkar, whom I had not asked for any support. However, I am not mentioning the others because I had sought help from those people and they didn’t help me. By Day 25, it had collected Rs 45.28 crore net and Rs 53.43 crore gross in India.Neem Karoli Baba, also known as Maharaj-ji, was a Hindu spiritual teacher and a devoted follower of Lord Hanuman. He was born around 1900 in Akbarpur village in present-day Uttar Pradesh. He died on September 11, 1973, in Vrindavan.
