Geetu Mohandas’ ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ continued to witness a decline in its box office performance on Day 15. The action drama, headlined by Yash, Kiara Advani, Nayanthara and Tara Sutaria, has been recording lower collections in its second week. The film has also received mixed reviews from audiences and critics.According to Sacnilk, ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ earned Rs 60 lakhs in India on its 15th day. The collection came from 1,322 shows, with the film recording an overall occupancy of 14.7%. The Day 15 figure marks a 20.0% decline from the Rs 0.75 cr collected on Day 14. The film’s total India net collection has now reached Rs 247.85 cr. Its India gross collection stands at Rs 295.82 cr.

Worldwide collection reaches Rs 339.32 cr

The film continued to add to its overseas earnings on Day 15. ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ collected Rs 10 lakhs from international markets on Wednesday. With this addition, the film’s cumulative overseas gross collection has reached Rs 43.50 cr. Its worldwide gross collection now stands at Rs 339.32 cr.The film began its theatrical run with a strong Rs 101.10 cr on its first Wednesday. It earned the amount from 24,579 shows at an occupancy of 56.1%. The collection fell to Rs 37.65 cr on Thursday from 22,629 shows, with 26.6% occupancy. The film added Rs 27.20 cr on Friday, Rs 25.15 cr on Saturday and Rs 23.00 cr on Sunday. The respective show counts were 19,390, 17,612 and 16,241. The occupancy rates stood at 25.5%, 24.3% and 25.3%. Its first week ended with Rs 239.30 cr.

Second-week collections continue to slide

The second Friday brought in Rs 1.75 cr from 2,253 shows at 22.5% occupancy. Saturday saw the collection rise to Rs 2.28 cr from 1,829 shows. The occupancy for the day was 28.1%. The film then earned Rs 2.42 cr on its second Sunday. It was screened across 1,775 shows at 30.5% occupancy. The collection dropped sharply to Rs 0.75 cr on Monday from 1,354 shows at 17.2% occupancy.On the second Tuesday, ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ again collected Rs 0.75 cr. It had 1,340 shows and recorded 18.6% occupancy. Day 15 brought another decline, with the film earning Rs 0.60 cr from 1,322 shows.

Kannada version leads Day 15 collections

The Kannada version emerged as the biggest contributor to the film’s India net collection on Day 15. It earned Rs 38 lakhs from 602 shows, with an occupancy of 13.0%. The Hindi version collected Rs 0.20 cr from 672 shows. It registered an occupancy of 16.0%. The Telugu version contributed Rs 0.02 cr from 48 shows, recording 18.0% occupancy.The Kannada 2D version registered an overall occupancy of 12.89%. Its morning shows recorded 9.82%, while afternoon shows reached 16.18%. Evening occupancy stood at 11.27%, followed by 12.36% during the night.The Hindi 2D version performed better in terms of occupancy. It recorded an overall rate of 22.97%. Morning shows registered 15.69%, while afternoon shows reached 21.62%. Evening and night occupancy stood at 20.62% and 19.38%, respectively.
