The buyer is Broadway producer Henry Tisch, a member of the Tisch family, and the deal closed at the full asking price, according to The Wall Street Journal.Meg Ryan had put the Bridgehampton home on the market in May 2026, less than two years after purchasing it for a reported $13.49 million in 2024. That means the actress sold the property for about $1.76 million more than she paid, before taxes, transaction costs and any renovation expenses.The sale also adds another chapter to Ryan’s long-running interest in luxury real estate and home renovation.

A private Bridgehampton estate on 1.5 acres

The former Meg Ryan home is tucked away on Matthews Lane in Bridgehampton South, one of the Hamptons’ most sought-after areas. The Compass listing describes the property as a secluded home reached through a long gated driveway, with mature trees and landscaped grounds surrounding the house. It sits on 1.51 acres and was built in 2016.There is a small discrepancy in the reported size of the house. PEOPLE described it as nearly 5,000 square feet when Ryan first listed it, while the property listing records the total building area at 6,452 square feet. The listing also gives the home five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms.The house was designed in a traditional Hamptons style, with interiors by designer Kitty McCoy. Wide-plank hardwood floors, beamed ceilings, shiplap walls and multiple fireplaces give the property a classic look rather than an ultra-modern celebrity-home feel.
