Actor and pilot, Guy Kapulnik has tragically passed away in a small plane crash in Southern California. He was 46.According to local news outlets, Guy, who was the pilot of the plane, died alongside his sole passenger, 33-year-old Taylor Laska, on September 24. The crash occurred that morning at 9:45am local time in Hesperia, which is about two hours east of Los Angeles. As per report, the single-engine aircraft sustained significant damage in the crash.As reported by Just Jared, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department released a statement that read, “On Thursday, 09/24/2026, at 09:53 a.m., the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department responded to the area of Summit Valley Road and Telephone Canyon Road in Hesperia for an airplane collision. Pilot Guy Kapulnik, a 46-year-old resident of Los Angeles, was pronounced dead on scene. Passenger Taylor Laska, a 33-year-old resident of Santa Monica, was pronounced dead on scene.”“Firefighters confirmed two fatalities. Both individuals were located inside the aircraft,” the San Bernardino County Fire Department told NBC.The crash remains under investigation, the fire department confirmed and concluded their statement saying, “Our thoughts are with the families and loved ones of those involved during this difficult time.”Guy was an Israeli actor who had a breakout role in the movie ‘Room 514’, which debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2012. He had a small role in Harrison Ford‘s 2020 movie ‘The Call of the Wild’.In addition to being an actor, Guy worked as a certified flight instructor.
