Justin Baldoni stepped out of court today, with a big smile across his face following the second day of court-ordered settlement talks in his ongoing legal battle. Walking hand-in-hand with his wife, the actor and director stepped out of court today, accompanied by his attorney, Bryan Freedman. merging from the courthouse, the ‘It Ends With Us’ actor-director was asked how his day in court went. Justin Baldoni vs Stephanie JonesOn Thursday, Justin made a solo appearance in court, with no sign of Blake Lively in sight. According to reports, Lively, “was not expected in court” while her legal team was present. Justin had returned to a New York City courthouse after Wednesday’s 6-hour long day in court. As per Page Six, Justin, in addition to the high-profile lawsuit with Lively, he is also embroiled in a separate legal matter with publicist Stephanie Jones. Jones reportedly filed a lawsuit in December 2024 alleging breach of contract and claiming that Baldoni and former employee Jennifer Abel orchestrated a smear campaign against Lively. Baldoni countersued Jones in March 2025. As per the report, Jones is currently seeking dismissal of that suit.Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively to head to trialOn Wednesday, Baldoni and Lively had both attended settlement talks in a bid to sort out the matter before the case goes to trial in May. Baldoni’s attorney, Freedman, told media outlets that settlement talks were “unsuccessful,” but went on to add, “there’s always a chance” an agreement could still be reached. Freedman added that he is “looking forward” to the May trial.
