Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited film ‘King’ has officially confirmed its release date. After first announcing the project on SRK’s birthday last year, the team has now revealed that the film will hit theatres as a grand Christmas release this year.Sharing a special teaser on social media, the makers announced it with an engaging caption: “A ROAR loud enough to shake the KINGdom. #KING arriving on 24.12.2026. #ItsKINGTime (sic).”The film, directed by Siddharth Anand of ‘Pathaan’ fame, marks the big Bollywood debut of Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, Suhana Khan. It is scheduled to hit the screens on December 24, 2026.

Earlier, the makers had shared a glimpse into the world of King, giving fans a taste of its scale and style. The teaser showcased Shah Rukh Khan in a fierce new avatar, set against striking visuals and stylised frames, with the actor performing high-octane, death-defying stunts.
