Filmmaker Farah Khan has sparked a fun sibling debate after declaring that Aparshakti Khurana‘s comic timing is sharper than his elder brother Ayushmann Khurrana‘s. The comment came during the director’s visit to Aparshakti’s Mumbai residence for her popular cooking vlog, where she was accompanied by her cook Dilip.

During the vlog, Farah Khan directly compared the two brothers, Aparshakti Khurana and Ayushmann Khurrana, landing a playful jab at the latter in the process. Turning to Aparshakti, she said, “Ayushmann is there, of course, but sometimes I feel your comic timing is better than his. Sorry, Ayushmann.” The remark left Aparshakti in splits.

Farah Khan talks about Aparshakti Khurana’s first impression

During the vlog, Farah Khan looked back at when she first met Aparshakti Khurana; at the time, he was working as a radio jockey during the promotions of ‘Om Shanti Om’. She candidly admitted that she had serious doubts about his future in films.“Jab yeh filmon mein aa raha tha, mujhe laga tha RJ kaise hi aayega (When he was entering films, I thought, ‘How will an RJ make it here?’), but he’s done so well, yaar. Not only that, he has become such a good actor too,” Khan said.

Farah Khan also gave her viewers a tour of Aparshakti Khurana’s impressive house, which she described as blending the grandeur of a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film set with the glam of her own ‘Om Shanti Om’ aesthetics.
