Born on May 22, 1995, in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, Palash Muchhal grew up in a close-knit Marwari family. Music played a central role in his upbringing. Surrounded by a musical environment, he developed an early interest in the art form. While Palak Muchhal established herself as a successful playback singer, Palash chose to build his own path. He trained in Hindustani classical music from a young age. During his formative years, he began experimenting with composition.

Palash made his Bollywood debut as a composer with ‘Dishkiyaoon’ in 2014. The project earned him recognition for his fresh and experimental sound. He went on to work on films such as ‘Bhoothnath Returns’ and ‘Amit Sahni Ki List.’Beyond films, Palash explored music videos and short films. One of his notable milestones came with ‘Kaam Chalu Hai’ (2024). The project gained international attention after being screened at the Cannes Film Festival. On the other hand, his most recent work was in ‘The Money Collector,’ which was released in 2024 and was directed by him, along with Rahul Thawait. He also worked as a composer for ‘Hind Di Chadar—Guru Ladho Re,’ which was released in 2025.
