This is what seems to have happened with stars Lena Dunham and Nicole Kidman, who walked the white carpet for the night in similar red sequins and feathers, bringing their fashion bests to the front.

Lena Dunham and Nicole Kidman both wore similar red dresses with accented red feather features around the dress. The two stars were wearing pieces from two different designers for the night; however, they still ended up mirroring one another, becoming the talk of the town.

Kidman, who recently split from her 19-year-long marriage with Keith Urban, walked the red carpet as one of the co-chairs for the night, along with her daughter, Sunday Rose. She kept her hair long and wore a floor-length body con dress covered with red hot sequins, as well as accented red feathers around the edges of her waist and cuffs. To complete the fit, she paired it with an archival and timeless jewelry piece with a total of 224 diamonds, as per InStyle.
While talking to Vogue about the inspiration of the outfit, the actress revealed that “I wanted something red because I wanted to embrace the way red has been used in art through the years. And I feel it’s a strong symbol for love. For passionate love, vitality, for power—and motherhood.”

The thigh-high split added drama to the already bold fit, which was also paired with accented red feathers all over the bodice and skirt.
