Months before actor Saif Ali Khan survived a shocking robbery attempt at his Bandra residence in 2025, his sister Soha Ali Khan had also experienced a terrifying break-in at her former home. Recalling the 2011 incident, Soha revealed that an intruder entered her bedroom around 4 AM, while her husband, actor-director Kunal Kemmu, confronted the thief despite having his hand in a cast.Soha candidly admitted that fear took over during the incident and she could do little except stand in a corner crying. She said in an interview with Yuvaa, “When our house was broken into, and Kunal caught the thief many years ago, I stood in the corner and cried. It wasn’t my finest moment. I want to be kind to myself by saying that it was in the middle of the night and I wasn’t prepared, but I definitely could’ve been more useful. I’m probably not the bravest person. My system tends to shut down when there’s something happening. I am working on it.”
Calling herself a “phattu (coward),” the actor said she has been trying to become mentally stronger in stressful situations.During the same conversation, Soha also opened up about her personal life and family dynamics. She shared that her daughter Inaaya has recently become her go-to person for fashion advice, while Kunal often offers styling suggestions even when she doesn’t ask for them.Talking about seeking relationship advice from Saif, Soha said, “I go to bhai (Saif) for relationship advice because I don’t have too many friends who are men anymore. So I feel like getting a male perspective, because he’s always, not on Kunal’s side, but speaks from that lens.” She added that Saif often acts as a calming presence during parenting struggles.The actor also joked about turning to her sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor Khan for gossip and amusing updates. “She doesn’t gossip, but she has the most irrelevant information about the people that you would not think cross her mind. But she is incredibly observant and must be on some pretty special WhatsApp group that I would love to join.”On the work front, Soha was last seen in Chhorii 2 alongside Nushrratt Bharuccha. The horror drama is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. She is also busy with her podcast, All About Her.Earlier this year, Saif Ali Khan was attacked during an attempted robbery at his residence and suffered multiple stab injuries while trying to protect his family. The actor later underwent surgeries following the incident.
