The news of Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO’s split surprised fans. Now, days after the news broke out, both of the celebrities have finally given some statements to the public about all that has happened. This includes Bunnie XO talking about parenthood and revealing that no matter what has happened between the two of them, they will be co-parenting and having a baby together.
Bunnie XO reveals that she and Jelly Roll are planning on co-parenting
While discussing the amicable breakup and post-divorce plans, Bunnie XO revealed how she and Jelly Roll plan to parent their children. While discussing this on her ‘Dumb Blonde’ podcast, XO, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, opened up about their co-parenting plans.“We’re still having a baby together,” she stated, adding, “So, we have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered. We’re going to co-parent together.”Further on in the podcast episode, she also said, “J (Jelly Roll) is my best friend. This isn’t what you guys think. Nobody cheated on the other person. It’s literally just that we served our purpose for each other.”The two had, over the years, spoken about becoming parents. While Roll has children from his previous relationships, he and Bunnie XO never conceived. However, in the 46-year-old’s memoir, XO admitted that she and Roll had found a surrogate. She had written that “I’ve waited this long to have kids with someone I knew would be a great father—and to be able to make sure they have the best life.” The book is titled ‘Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic’, and was released for publication in February this year.She further discussed how excited she and Jelly were for the whole ordeal. She wrote, “We’re going to raise these babies in love and give them everything we were never given. I can’t wait to see a piece of me and him running around outside of our bodies. With how much IVF has advanced over the years and with the help of the most unselfish woman willing to carry twins for us. We’ll be able to make our baby dreams come true.”

TMZ reported a few days ago that the rapper officially filed for divorce from Bunnie XO after nearly 10 years together. Around two months away from their 10th anniversary, the couple split up on May 9, as per the court filings. The ‘Halfway to Hell’ rapper officially filed for divorce later on May 18.
