What happened in ‘From’ Season 4 Episode 9

The previous episode, titled “The Calm Before,” set up major developments that directly led to the season finale’s events. The Man in Yellow, who had been disguised as the character Sophia, began acting with greater openness and revealed that Clara had been secretly assisting him throughout the season.Clara was the character who caused problems for the trapped residents, interfering with the town’s escape plan. In the interim, Tabitha uncovered that only she and Jade could perform a ritual to free the children held captive in the town.The Boy in White warned Victor of the possible risks of destroying Bottle Tree, a mysterious object at the heart of the show’s mythos. Violence erupted when Sophia attacked Elgin after he uncovered something suspicious about her true identity. In the episode’s climactic final scene, Tabitha and Jade ventured into the tunnels, discovered the children’s bones and found themselves surrounded by the town’s terrifying monsters.
