SRINAGAR: Gunshots were heard during a cordon and search operation in the Saidpora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district Saturday evening, a senior police officer said.A joint team of J&K Police and the Army launched the operation after receiving specific inputs. “So far, we can only confirm that gunshots were heard, and the area continues to be under cordon,” he added.
