‘Dhamaal 4’ is among the most anticipated theatrical releases this month. Directed by Indra Kumar, the comedy entertainer arrives in cinemas on July 10 and will face competition from Hollywood release ‘Moana’ at the box office. The fourth installment reunites franchise regulars Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi and Jaaved Jaaferi, while Anjali Anand, Ravi Kishan, Sanjeeda Shaikh and others join the ensemble as fresh additions.Ahead of the film’s release, reports about the cast’s alleged remuneration have been doing the rounds online. According to media reports, Ajay Devgn was initially set to receive Rs 40 crore for leading the film. However, producer Bhushan Kumar recently revealed in an interview with News18 that the actor voluntarily reduced his fee to support the project.Bhushan shared that ‘Dhamaal 4’ had become a high-budget film, and Ajay stepped in to ease the financial burden by lowering his remuneration. He also praised the actor for prioritising the film over personal earnings, saying Ajay understands the challenges producers face and always puts the project first.Among the rest of the cast, Riteish Deshmukh and Arshad Warsi are reportedly said to have charged Rs 10 crore each for their roles. Ravi Kishan is also speculated to have received Rs 10 crore. Meanwhile, Jaaved Jaaferi and Esha Gupta are reportedly said to have been paid Rs 2 crore each, while Sanjay Mishra allegedly earned Rs 3 crore. The remuneration of Upendra Limaye, Sanjeeda Shaikh and Anjali Anand has not been disclosed.Recently, Anjali Anand recently spoke about sharing screen space with Riteish Deshmukh in the comedy. During an interview with IANS, she recalled their first meeting and revealed that her admiration for the actor took him by surprise. “With Ritesh, I think the most memorable moment was when we met. And I just told him how crazy I am about all his films and dialogues. And he was shocked that I know all his dialogues.”For those unaware, Anjali is paired opposite Riteish in ‘Dhamaal 4’. The comedy caper is set to hit theatres this Friday.
