NEW DELHI: Learning from the recent CJP-led protests govt has set up a team of officials from multiple ministries to counter online “misinformation” on E20 fuel through coordinated efforts by vehicle manufacturers, dealers, vehicle testing agencies, oil marketing companies and fuel pump dealers and other stakeholders, reports Dipak Dash. Ministries concerned are also setting up Quick Response Teams to flag fake content. TOI has learnt a team of officials from I&B, road transport, heavy industries and petroleum, is working to both deal with proliferation of wrong information and also to put across details that are backed by scientific and research-based reports.
