Ahaan Panday seems to have completed a major milestone in his second Bollywood film. After making his acting debut with ‘Saiyaara’, the young actor has reportedly wrapped up the United Kingdom schedule of Ali Abbas Zafar‘s upcoming untitled romantic action drama. The film brings together an ensemble cast that includes Sharvari, Bobby Deol, Jimmy Shergill, and Aaishvary Thackeray. The recently concluded schedule lasted for nearly two months and covered multiple locations across the UK. According to Mid-day, the final phase of shooting took place in Birmingham, where the team filmed key emotional scenes along with a romantic song featuring Ahaan and Sharvari.
Three songs filmed across the United Kingdom
The report states that the production focused extensively on filming songs during the final weeks of the schedule. According to the report, “In the past few weeks, they shot three songs. One was a solo track of Ahaan shot at Town Hall in Birmingham. It’s a festive number that sees the lead actor dancing alongside young girls doing the hula hoop. Two romantic songs with Ahaan and Sharvari were also filmed at different locations, including Birmingham, Coventry University, Penrith, and Carlisle. Vijay Ganguly choreographed all three songs.” The songs were filmed at several picturesque locations, with choreographer Vijay Ganguly handling all three musical sequences.
Bobby Deol and Aaishvary Thackeray play key roles
Apart from Ahaan Panday and Sharvari, the film features Bobby Deol and Aaishvary Thackeray in important roles that are expected to shape the story. The report also revealed details about their characters. “Aaishvary plays the antagonist, while Bobby is Ahaan’s mentor who takes him under his wing when he is young.” The film reportedly traces the life of Ahaan’s character as he transforms from an ordinary young boy into a feared gangster, combining action, romance and emotional drama.
Ahaan Panday’s journey from assistant director to actor
Before making his debut as an actor, Ahaan Panday gained experience behind the camera. He worked as an assistant director on ‘Freaky Ali’ (2016) and later built an online following through original digital sketches and short films. Ahaan made his debut as a lead actor with Mohit Suri‘s ‘Saiyaara’, which was released on July 18, 2025. The romantic drama also starred Aneet Padda and received a positive response from audiences. The film emerged as a commercial success and helped establish Ahaan as one of Bollywood’s promising newcomers.
