Page Six revealed that soon after the doorman found him, he was rushed to a nearby hospital for further medical aid. The report revealed that someone from the neighbourhood spotted the 84-year-old from their balcony and alerted the doorman to what had happened.Emergency paramedics arrived at the scene soon after, and he was taken to a hospital. A statement from the report revealed, “The doorman and building manager rolled him over, and they said, ‘Dr. Witherspoon, are you OK?’” He blinked his eyes, and that’s when he was rushed to the hospital.” The outlet also reported that while Nashville Metro confirmed that there was a medical incident at the condo area where Witherspoon’s father resided, they refused to provide any confirmation about the person’s identity.
