‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ Season 2

The next Game of Thrones television series to return will be ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’, which follows the adventures of Ser Duncan “Dunk” the Tall and his young squire, Egg. HBO has confirmed that Season 2 will premiere in 2027, although an exact date has not yet been announced.Cast: Peter Claffey is set to return as Ser Duncan the Tall, while Dexter Sol Ansell will reprise his role as Egg. Several cast members from the first season are expected to return, including Daniel Ings, Danny Webb, Sam Spruell, Shaun Thomas, Finn Bennett, Edward Ashley, Tanzyn Crawford, Henry Ashton, and many others.Plot: Season 2 is expected to adapt “The Sworn Sword,” the second of George R.R. ‘House of the Dragon’ Season 4

For fans invested in Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen’s rise to the Iron Throne and her ultimate doom, will have to wait until 2028 to watch the epic conclusion with the fourth and final season.Cast: The returning cast is expected to include the principal surviving characters from Season 3, with Emma D’Arcy as Rhaenyra Targaryen, Matt Smith as Daemon Targaryen, Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower, Tom Glynn-Carney as Aegon II Targaryen and Ewan Mitchell as Aemond Targaryen among the key figures.The show saw several ‘House of the Dragon’ characters being killed off by the end of the season, which makes the wait for season 4 all the more interesting to see which new character joins the battle for the throne.Plot: The Season 3 finale leaves Rhaenyra’s position increasingly shaky despite her control of the Iron Throne. With the Battle of Tumbleton and Daemon raining fire on the enemies, the split in the Targaryen dynasty has never been wider. The finale also confirmed Aegon is alive and with his brother Aemond, are all set to reclaim the throne.Season 4 will therefore have to resolve the remaining major conflicts of the Targaryen civil war, including the fate of Rhaenyra, Aegon, Daemon and the surviving members of both the Blacks and Greens.

‘Aegon’s Conquest‘

The biggest update in the ‘GOT’ universe came this weekend, with the announcement of ‘Game of Thrones: Aegon’s Conquest’, an upcoming theatrical feature. This makes it the first movie set in the Game of Thrones universe. The project was unveiled as part of Warner Bros.’ “2027 and beyond” slate. The screenplay is being written by Beau Willimon, known for ‘House of Cards’ and ‘Andor’.There is currently no confirmed release date, director or cast.

What is ‘Aegon’s Conquest’ about?

The film will explore one of the most important chapters in Westerosi history – the conquest of the Seven Kingdoms by Aegon I Targaryen.Set roughly 300 years before the events of ‘Game of Thrones’, the story follows Aegon and his sister-wives, Visenya and Rhaenys, as they launch their campaign to conquer Westeros with their dragons – Balerion, Vhagar and Meraxes.The conquest ultimately results in the creation of the Iron Throne and establishes the Targaryen dynasty.
