Sara Ali Khan celebrates her birthday today and from started out as an actor with ‘Kedarnath’, she’s come a long way. Apart from her evolution as an actor, Sara has also grown to be a strong lady and in an earlier interview with ETimes, she had revealed that growing up around strong women like her grandmom Sharmila Tagore and single mother Amrita Singh has largely influenced her.Sara’s parents Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh got divorced in 2004 when she was 9 years old. The actress had told ETimes, “”Living with a single mother has a huge role to play in my life. At a very early age, I realised that koi aapke liye kuch karne nahi wala. They might do also, but you are the mover, people will help you, but the initiative has to come from you. If you’re lucky, the stars align, and with God’s will, you get everything, but that initiation has to be with you. You can’t be waiting around for it, it doesn’t work like that.”“So many times the things you’re looking outside are within you, you only have to push yourself,” she added. On work front, she was last seen in ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’ for which she got a lot of love. She will be seen next in ‘Udta Teer’ with Ayushmann Khurrana again. The film, which was earlier scheduled for a September 11 release, will now arrive n theatres on October 9. The film backed by Karan Johar‘s Dharma Production marks the directorial debut of Akash A Kaushik.
