On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is set to mark her return to Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli’s ‘Varanasi’, co-starring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 7, 2026. The actress has also signed on for the sci-fi thriller ‘Bluefly’ alongside Russell Crowe. Directed by Nimród Antal, known for ‘Vacancy’ (2007), ‘Predators’ (2010), and ‘Retribution’ (2023), the film’s pre-sales are expected to launch at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) market in the second week of September.
