Lokesh Kanagaraj and Wamiqa Gabbi’s ‘DC’ registered another day of steady box office earnings on its second Tuesday. According to Sacnilk, the movie collected Rs 1.81 Cr in India net on Day 12.The latest figure marks a 9.5% decline from the Rs 2.00 Cr earned on Day 11. The film recorded 2,093 shows across India on Tuesday.‘DC’ has now earned Rs 58.57 Cr in India net. Its India gross collection has reached Rs 67.43 Cr.Its overseas gross currently stands at Rs 21.50 Cr. This takes the worldwide gross collection of ‘DC’ to Rs 88.93 Cr.

Tamil version contributes Rs 1.28 Cr

The Tamil version continued to account for the larger share of the domestic earnings. It collected Rs 1.28 Cr on Day 12 from 1,431 shows.The Tamil version recorded an overall occupancy of 24%. Its Telugu version added Rs 53 lakhs from 662 shows and registered 22% occupancy.The Tamil version reported 30.50% overall occupancy. Morning shows recorded 22.77%, while afternoon shows registered 29.23%. Evening occupancy stood at 21.92%. Night shows recorded the strongest figure at 39.08%.The Telugu version recorded 19.21% overall occupancy. Morning shows registered 16.20%, followed by 17.30% in the afternoon. Evening shows recorded 13%. Night shows reached 26.10%.

‘DC’ crosses Rs 58 Cr in India net

The Arun Matheswaran directorial entered its second week after collecting Rs 41.90 Cr during its first seven days. The movie earned Rs 5.25 Cr on Day 6 and Rs 4.15 Cr on Day 7.The film’s weekday collections have since moved lower. On its second Monday, ‘DC’ collected Rs 2.00 Cr. The movie followed that with Rs 1.81 Cr on Tuesday. The latest numbers have taken its India net total beyond the Rs 58 Cr mark.

Allu Arjun praises ‘DC’

Allu Arjun recently shared his reaction after watching ‘DC’. The ‘Raaka’ star called the film a “Tamil classic” and encouraged audiences to watch it. He wrote on X:“Watched #DC ! It’s a Tamil classic. Every film lover must watch it. It’s poetry for those who get it. Congratulations to the entire #DC team.
