The Centre told the Supreme Court that the NEET examination security system is “foolproof” and difficult to breach.

NEW DELHI: The Centre on Wednesday told the Supreme Court that the system put in place for conducting the NEET examination is “foolproof” and difficult to breach, as the court heard concerns related to the security and handling of question papers. The Centre told the court that vehicles transporting NEET question papers are equipped with GPS systems and even minor movements are recorded, providing an additional layer of security during their transportation.“Vehicle carrying NEET question papers has GPS, even small movement is recorded,” the Centre told the Supreme Court. The government also said several moderators are involved in preparing a question bank for the examination and are not aware which questions will eventually form part of the final question paper.“Several moderators asked to prepare question bank, they are not aware which will be part of question paper,” the Centre told the court. The submissions were made as the Centre sought to assure the Supreme Court that safeguards are in place throughout the NEET examination process and that the system is difficult to compromise.
