NEW DELHI: Congress leader Sajjan Kumar, convicted in cases related to the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, died at the age of 80 on Thursday.He breathed his last at Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital.The anti-Sikh riots followed the October 31, 1984, assassination of then-Prime Minister and Congress leader Indira Gandhi by her Sikh bodyguards in retaliation for the Army’s Operation Blue Star in June that year.(Developing story)
