However, Girish A D made a distinction when discussing ‘Super Saranya’. He said the 2022 movie is the one film from his work that he finds particularly difficult to sit through.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Girish A D admitted that he is not satisfied with several aspects of ‘Super Saranya’. He pointed specifically to issues with the writing and the lack of a proper script review.Girish A D said, “Super Saranya is something I can’t sit through. I can watch all the other films, but I just can’t watch this one. There were a lot of problems with the writing of that film. The script wasn’t reviewed. It was a film that was shot hastily amid the difficulties of the Covid period.”“The film has all the problems that came with that. Even though there are a lot of comedy scenes, it is a film that gives me no satisfaction at all. Despite having a story with a lot of potential, we couldn’t even reach half of what it could have been. That is why I always have a great sense of disappointment about it,” Girish A D said.
Why Girish A D feels disappointed
According to Girish A D, the movie had considerable potential but did not achieve what he had initially envisioned. He attributed part of the problem to the writing process and the rushed production schedule. He also noted that his reaction is linked to his own expectations from the project. While the movie contains several comedy sequences, the filmmaker does not consider the final result satisfying.

While discussing his own filmography, Girish A D also revealed the scene that gives him the most satisfaction. The filmmaker pointed to a sequence from ‘Premalu’. According to Girish A D, his favourite moment is the scene where the female lead proposes during a car chase. He said this particular sequence stands out when he takes a look back on his work.
