Abid Mushtaq will be the player North Zone turn to once again when they face South Zone in the Duleep Trophy semifinal. Mushtaq produced a brilliant performance against West Zone, taking five wickets in the first innings before claiming another four in the second.

His nine wickets played a huge role in North’s 52-run victory. He will now face a much stronger South Zone batting unit led by Tilak Varma. If Mushtaq can produce another match-winning spell, North will have a strong chance of reaching the final.
