‘Hanuman Ansh’ opened to a very poor response in theatres. However, the movie gained momentum after completing two weeks at the cinemas. Now, the Neem Karoli Baba biopic has turned out to be one of the most profitable films of India. Here’s how the movie has performed on its fourth Monday at the box office.

The movie had a modest opening of Rs 10 lakh on Day 1. Its first two weeks were slow, earning only Rs 1.48 crore overall. However, the film saw a major turnaround on Day 17, when it collected Rs 2.20 crore in a single day. Growing positive word-of-mouth on social media helped bring more audiences to theatres. The strong momentum continued into its third week, which added an impressive Rs 10.40 crore to its total.Now, according to the Sacnilk report, on Day 25, the film represented a 59.6% drop compared to its previous day’s earnings. ‘Hanuman Ansh’ collected a net of Rs 5.15 crore across 6,587 shows on Day 25.With that, the total India gross collections are now Rs 53.43 crore, while the total India net collections have reached Rs 45.28 crore.

What is ‘Hanuman Ansh’ about?
Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, ‘Hanuman Ansh’ is based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba, popularly known as Maharaj-ji. The official synopsis reads, “A grieving boy seeks God to meet his departed mother, and in finding the divine, learns to serve humanity with miracles of love, food and silent blessings, becoming Hanuman Ansh, Neem Karoli Baba.”Reportedly, the film has been made on a budget of Rs 1.75 to 2 crore. It was released in theatres on August 7, 2026.
