Kayadu Lohar‘s ‘Immortal’ has opened its theatrical journey with an India net collection of Rs 95 lakhs. The Tamil romantic horror film recorded the figure on its first Friday. According to Sacnilk, the collection came from 972 shows. The opening-day business has taken the movie’s India gross collection to Rs 1.10 Cr. Its India net currently stands at Rs 95 lakhs.

The Mariyappan Chinna directorial registered 32.58% overall occupancy on Day 1. The film was screened in Tamil in the 2D format. Night shows recorded the strongest response among the four major show timings. The occupancy for the late screenings reached 43.54%. Morning shows recorded 24.38% occupancy. Afternoon screenings performed better at 34.54%. Evening shows, however, registered 20.08% occupancy.The plot follows a bachelor who moves into an apartment as a tenant. Kayadu Lohar explains ‘I’m Game’ promotion
The release of ‘Immortal’ also comes amid discussions about Kayadu Lohar’s promotional appearances. The actress was seen participating in the campaign for Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘I’m Game’.However, her visibility during the promotional activities for ‘Immortal’ was comparatively limited. ‘I’m Game’ opened on September 3. ‘Immortal’ followed on September 4. Kayadu Lohar later explained that scheduling constraints were behind her availability for the promotions. She said she had only one day free for the campaign of ‘I’m Game’.“I had only one day available for the I’m Game promotion, so I did that, and the team on Immortal didn’t have that date,” she explained in an interview with Galatta Plus. Kayadu Lohar also had another project keeping her occupied during the same period.
