Anne Hathaway recently revealed how much she wanted to go on the ‘Hot Ones’ show; however, she was unable to due to her doctor’s advice. For the unversed, ‘Hot Ones’ is a popular YouTube interview show that was created by Chris Schonberger and is hosted by Sean Evans.

While talking about her latest film with Dakota Johnson, ‘Verity,’ Anne Hathaway revealed that she wanted to appear on ‘Hot Ones’ in real life. Featuring on one of the latest episodes of the ‘Talk of the Townsends’ podcast, the actress shared that the popular show made a cameo on her movie, which is why she had been actively looking forward to going on the actual show.During the podcast, she added more context and shared, “We did the first three wings for real (while filming for ‘Verity’), and then I switched to dummy wings. And then I thought that I was going to be able to do the ‘Hot Ones’ challenge to do press for this film because it just made sense.” However, the ‘Mother Mary’ actress has been essentially ‘banned’ from appearing on the show even during the press tour, as per her doctor’s advice. “But then I got pregnant, and my doctor said I couldn’t do it because I might go into early labor. So I still haven’t done the gauntlet yet. I’m not sure when that’s going to happen. Maybe next year,” she shared hopefully.

Anne Hathaway talks about taking a break

In another interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actress joked about ‘disappearing’ and how she is planning on taking some time to herself after her third baby with husband Adam Shulman is born. She shared, “The movie [Verity] releases on October 2nd. And on October 3rd, I’m going to vanish in a plume of smoke, and you’re not going to see me until you have to.”However, she did confirm that the break will only be until March 2027, when she will return to work with Tom Cruise for his sequel film, ‘Days of Thunder 2. ‘Verity’ is Hathaway’s fifth and final film for 2026, following ‘Mother Mary,’ ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2,’ ‘The Odyssey,’ and ‘The End of Oak Street.’
