'Stranger Things 5': Millie Bobby Brown reacts to fan theories; reveals she read one that resembles to what's going to happen

As the ‘Stranger Things Season 5’ dropped, the world turned upside down, inching closer to the wrath created by Vecna and his fellow demogorgons. From the discussions on Will Byers getting the superpowers to wild fan theories that actually feel real, social media burst into a massive group conversation. However, now that Millie Bobby Brown has heard some of it, one of the fan theories actually resembles what’s really going to happen.

Millie Bobby Brown reacts to fan theories

In a conversation with Jimmy Fallon for ‘The Tonight Show,’ Millie Bobby Brown had all her guards up while talking about ‘Stranger Things 5.’ Without even flinching or suggesting any ideas, the 21-year-old listened to the stories and uttered “Hmmm.” Reading the theories, Fallon recalls how the lock of the house was automatically opened from the inside when Vecna took Will Byers away in the first season, suggesting Eleven used her powers to help. Claiming she had never heard of such a theory, Brown was shocked to see how fans remembered every single detail. Furthermore, Fallon said another statement, “Vecna is not the main villain; he is just controlled by the mind flayer.” As expected, Brown said, “Hmm.” Another theory that caused the audience to burst into laughter was ‘Karen Wheeler is Vecna’s little sister.” “The entire series is actually just a game of Dungeons and Dragons that the kids are playing,” Fallon said about the most popular fan theory. While Brown nodded in confusion, she continued how she had seen one theory about this that blew her mind. “It was an alternative theory. It wasn’t similar to this, but it was almost bang on,” she explained.

About ‘Stranger Things’

As the theory session continued, Fallon claimed that Eleven and Will are the kids who were separated at birth. Millie responded immediately with, “Millie and Noah are the kids who were separated at birth.” As for the next chapter of ‘Stranger Things Season 5,’ the new episodes will drop on December 26, 2025, and the final episode will be aired on January 01, 2026.
