According to a report by 123Telugu, the team is working on a special animated announcement promo in Chennai. The video will be reportedly unveiled on September 2, 2026, which coincides with Pawan Kalyan’s birthday.Although reports suggest that the promo could reveal a few details about the project, the makers have not confirmed the development.

A sequel to ‘They Call Him OG’

‘They Call Him OG’ featured Pawan Kalyan in the role of Ojas Gambheera, popularly known as OG. The action drama follows a former samurai who arrives in India as a young man and eventually becomes the trusted protector of businessman Satyanarayana.Although the movie had received mixed reviews for it’s storyline, Thaman’s BGM added an extra mass appeal to the elevation sequences.

Chandrababu Naidu meets Pawan Kalyan in Mumbai

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu recently travelled to Mumbai to meet Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, who underwent surgery on his right shoulder at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.During the visit, the Chief Minister met Pawan Kalyan, his wife Anna Konidala, and the medical team supervising his treatment. He enquired about the actor-politician’s health and recovery. Ministers Narayana and Anagani Satya Prasad also accompanied him during the hospital visit.After meeting Pawan Kalyan, Chandrababu Naidu shared a message on social media. He wrote, “I visited Deputy Chief Minister Shri Pawan Kalyan, who is undergoing treatment in Mumbai today. I wish him a speedy recovery. @PawanKalyan.”

Actor reportedly keen to resume responsibilities

Reports indicate that doctors have advised Pawan Kalyan to prioritise rest and rehabilitation following the surgery. However, Chandrababu Naidu reportedly revealed that the Deputy Chief Minister expressed his eagerness to return to work at the earliest. According to the reports, Pawan Kalyan is determined to resume his public responsibilities as soon as his recovery permits.On the film front, the actor was last seen in ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’, directed by Harish Shankar. The movie received mixed reviews.
