Singer Shaan and his wife buy Rs 48 crore, 6,300 sq ft Bandra apartment – DEETS INSIDE

Shaan and his wife Radhika Mukherjee have made a major move in Mumbai’s luxury real estate market, purchasing a sprawling 6,300 square foot home at the Palmera complex in Bandra West for Rs 48 crore. The deal, registered on August 20, marks one of the year’s biggest celebrity property investments.

Details of the Rs 48 crore deal

The new residence was created by merging three separate apartments spread across one and a half floors on the 18th level of the building. The transaction was handled by Propbay India LLP. According to the Mirror report, “It is a luxury property on Bandra’s Turner Road. The three units have been combined across approximately one-and-a-half floors.”

Shaan has a special connection to Bandra

The purchase holds personal significance for Shaan, whose late father, musician Manas Mukherjee, also lived in Bandra. The new home keeps the family’s long-standing connection with the neighbourhood alive. Located at 8 Turner Road near St Martin’s Road, the Palmera project stands on land that once housed a bungalow belonging to veteran actress Mala Sinha. Developed by Pantheion Real Estate, the 22-storey building also features a swimming pool and a bar on its 23rd floor. However, the project is still awaiting its Occupancy Certificate (OC), which is required before residents can officially move in.

Shaan reunites with Saif Ali Khan after nearly two decades

Alongside the big property purchase, Shaan has also made a musical comeback, teaming up with Saif Ali Khan after almost 20 years for the song ‘Mera Hero Hai Woh’ from the upcoming film ‘Haiwaan. Speaking about the reunion, Shaan told ANI, “I’ve had a special connection with Saif over the years. Lately on social media, there’s also a thing that one of the best matches is Shaan’s voice on Saif’s. So, it finally happened after 2007. That is something that I feel very excited about, and the song is being loved so much, so it’s nice. I feel very indebted to Pritam-da that he finally said, ‘No, let’s get Shaan to sing for him’.”Directed by Priyadarshan, ‘Haiwaan’ also stars Akshay Kumar alongside Saif Ali Khan. The movie is set to hit theatres on September 11, 2026.
