A day ago, the singer posted close-up photos of herself in a red-and-black theme, with one of them simply captioned, “MILEY.” She also removed her last name from her account handle, confirming that she is rebranding herself to go only by her first name professionally now. Fans since then had been left wondering whether a major announcement was coming with the rebrand. Now the singer has also confirmed the release of a brand new album that will drop on streaming platforms worldwide in a few weeks.

Hours later, the star posted a black-and-white video on her Instagram account showing her playing the guitar while wearing an unbuttoned shirt and sleek pants. She posted the teaser video along with the caption, “BASS PERSUADES,” confirming she is making a major comeback to the music scene.She continued, sharing another photo of the new album’s cover, which showed her holding a flower in her mouth with a black-and-white theme, featuring smoky eye makeup.She announced her 10th studio album in the caption and wrote, “My tenth studio album, BASS PERSUADES, is yours September 18th. Music takes hold of us. We feel it, sing it, sometimes dance to it, let it out, and carry on. It is powerful, vulnerable, sweet, and strong. Heart full, heartache, every part of life in between. That’s what the title means to me. Thank you for being a part of making my wildest dreams come true. I sincerely hope you love this album. Miley.”
Miley Cyrus to perform at the Hollywood Bowl
The ‘Flowers’ singer also confirmed in another social media post that she will be performing at the upcoming Hollywood Bowl. The singer shared that she will be debuting her album live and performing at the show on October 16 and October 18, confirming, along with band MODEL/Actriz.The caption further read, “It’s been a while. The Hollywood Bowl is my favourite place to experience music and see my favourite artists. I’ve sat in those seats many times, but I’ve never taken the stage. LA is my heart, and I’m bringing it home. See you there. Miley.”Cyrus’ last released album was ‘Something Beautiful,’ which came out on May 30, 2025. The album was also accompanied by a musical film released on June 6, 2025. The album’s lead single was ‘End of the World,’ accompanied by tracks like ‘Easy Lover,’ ‘Prelude,’ and ‘More to Lose,’ to name a few.
