PM Modi said on X.According to an Indian readout, the leaders discussed new measures to further deepen the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, including in the areas of energy, defence, technology, investment and health.“The two leaders exchanged views on developments in West Asia. They reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation and coordination in efforts to promote regional peace, security and stability,” It said.“The prime minister appreciated the participation of His Highness Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled in the Brics Summit and the UAE’s cooperation and partnership in achieving substantive outcomes under India’s Presidency,” said the readout.One of the highlights of the summit was the coming together of the UAE and Iran on the West Asia situation for a joint Brics declaration that stressed maximum restraint, dialogue and diplomacy.
