ETimes verdict for ‘Anbe Diana’
‘Anbe Diana’ received a rating of 3 out of 5 from ETimes. The review particularly praised the comedy and highlighted Chetan’s performance.ETimes wrote, “What keeps the film upright is the comedy. Chetan shoulders most of it, and his timing is impeccable; it’s dad humour through and through, but the delivery lands. Gopi, as the hero’s sidekick, is hit-or-miss. Roja Selvamani, in a homecoming of sorts, is adequate.Pari Elavazhagan and Ramya Ranganathan share an easy chemistry that keeps the romance watchable. Then comes the final thirty minutes, a nonstop barrage of Crazy Mohan-esque comic setups as the two families collide, the tempo running higher than anything before it. That stretch rescues what had thus far been a lukewarm watch.”
