Nepal floods: No adverse impact of flash floods on Indian side, says NDRF
NDRF has deployed 20 teams — 11 in UP and nine in Bihar.

NEW DELHI: National Disaster Response Force Thursday said there is no adverse impact of Nepal’s glacial lake outburst floods on Indian side even as Centre and states are monitoring the situation in bordering districts of UP and Bihar to mitigate any risk from excessive river waters flowing into India.NDRF has deployed 20 teams — 11 in UP and nine in Bihar — for evacuation, relief and rescue operations in case these areas experience floods and waterlogging. These include an NDRF team deployed in Kushinagar district, near Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh.
